Happy Mother's Day!=D
had a quarrel with my mum and sis on the same old topic before i left for church though i was mother's day, sians. couldnt control my anger, so i flare up, leaving the house without even saying a bye.
today's preacher was Jackie Pullinger. God has called her to venture into the 'Walled City', a place famous for its drug addicts, prostitutes and triad members in HK, despite fears for her own safety. i was very amazed by the things that she had done to all those people, changing them and saving them.=)
the phrase that i took back from today's sermon is, different people are called by God to do different things, i cannot be like you and you cannot be like me either.[not exactly the phrase that jackie pullinger said, but the meaning is there]
very often, we got jealous of others because they can do something and you cannot. but after today, i learnt that God has given each and every of us certain things that we are strong in, hence, we neednt be jealous.=)
anyway, i came back from church by ronghui's car.heh.was in the backseat with ivan and another guy.=)once again, ronghui, thanks for the ride.=)
